Experience English
English coaching holiday in Scotland
Real English, Real Progress
You don’t come to this holiday to feel bad about your English.
You come to feel at ease using it.
This is a week designed to give your English space to flow — through shared experiences, conversation, and time spent in meaningful places.
There’s no need to prepare. Just an invitation to live, settle, and let English move naturally through everyday moments.
Experience English is a flexible English coaching holiday shaped through culture, conversation, and curiosity.
The week is rich with shared activities and experiences across Scotland, while remaining open enough to adapt to what emerges and matters most.
The structure allows days to flex.
With a small group and additional coaching support, the group can split when interests or pace differ.
Dates: April–October
One week offers a powerful reset. Two weeks allow the experience — and your English — to settle more fully.
Experience English is designed for intermediate and above speakers — people who already have English and want to use it more freely in real situations.
Group size: Intentionally small (maximum 3 guests per week)
Private holidays for two people (at no extra cost) and one-to-one options are available.
Based in Perthshire, Scotland, with daily exploration of landscapes, towns, and cultural spaces.
Why English Feels More Comfortable Here
Many adults arrive with years of English behind them, but few chances to use it playfully and without consequence.
Here, English is part of the day rather than the focus of it. There’s space to play with language, follow your curiosity, and speak without overthinking — with support nearby when it’s useful.
That sense of comfort and permission is what allows English to come forward naturally.

The Story of this Holiday
Experience English unfolds at a steady, human pace.
Your days are shaped around being out in Scotland — walking through landscapes, visiting places with character and history, sharing meals, and spending time together in ways that naturally invite conversation.
English is the long-term aim of the week, but it’s worked in deliberately and in many different ways — through conversation, shared experiences, and everyday moments. Support is present without being intrusive, and the week adapts as it goes — what you notice, explore, or enjoy early on often shapes what follows.
Rather than following a fixed programme, the week is held with intention and allowed to respond — shaped by the people there, the conversations that emerge, and what feels most alive in the moment.
Because groups are small, there’s room for different rhythms. Some moments are lively and social; others are quiet and reflective. Both are part of the week, and both matter.
You stay with welcoming local homestay hosts, so evenings are calm and comfortable — a natural continuation of the day, with space to rest, reflect, and let English stay gently present.
By the end of the holiday, the week feels complete rather than rushed — like time well spent, not something to recover from.

What People Notice By The End Of The Week
By the end of the Experience English holiday, you feel at home — both here in our community, and in English.
You notice yourself speaking without preparing quite so much first. There’s less searching for the “right” moment or the “perfect” sentence. Your message is what matters.
You trust your English more. You’ve used it to make friends, to join workshops, to ask questions of experts, and to share your own experiences — in real situations, again and again.
When you go home, English doesn’t start fading again. You feel keen to continue growing this part of you — to stay connected to who you became in English.
A Simple Next Step
If you’re wondering whether this holiday will suit you, the next step is a short Zoom call.
It’s a chance for us to talk things through together — for you to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and get a feel for whether this way of working (and working with me) feels right for you.
The call also helps make sure expectations are aligned, so everyone arrives knowing what kind of week they’re stepping into.
These holidays aren’t designed to be booked on impulse — the Zoom call gives us both space to check that it’s a good match.
If this sounds like the kind of English experience you’ve been looking for, let’s talk it through.
