Introducing Clear Labeling for Eco-Tourism English Holidays

We’re adding a traffic light score system to blog posts to help you understand how each English immersion activity will benefit your English and/or support local communities.

If you care about eco-tourism, this will help you choose an English conversation holiday which cares too.

We care.

We care about your English, about your holiday AND about Scottish wildlife, ecology, art  & culture.

A visit to Perth Museum

For example, a recent blog was about a visit to Perth’s New Museum.

This visit is a great rainy day English immersion activity. It’s a particularly good introduction to Scottish culture, and for an understanding of what makes Perthshire a remarkable region.

Argaty Red Kite Feed

A very different English conversation activity is a visit to Argaty Red Kites.

This working farm is a key part of reintroducing red kites to Scotland, which they support with a daily feed.

A visit to the feed gives you the sight of the feeding birds of prey, fantastic photography opportunities and lots of conversation around preserving and protecting wildlife (the farm also has bird feeders, wildlife ponds, and nesting boxes and has recently introduced a relocated beaver group).

Feeling good speaking English is a valid language goal.

You’ll know yourself, when language learning feels like a chore,  and/or speaking causes fear, anxiety or vulnerability, we find excuses to stop doing it.

Our English conversation holidays have the goal of falling in love with your English.

Because a heart full of English is with you wherever you go.

Your holiday with us is full of little and big activities that help you feel good speaking English (more about this).

Often that’s being within nature, but sometimes we need a big, bombastic reward!

A steam train ride is wonderful, uplifting and powerful.

The Jacobite passes over viaducts and takes you to the remote Highland  fishing harbour Mallaig,

Some say it’s The Best Train Ride in Scotland.

It’s certainly a fantastic way to see Scotland and feel great in your English-speaking identity.

From the schedule, choose the theme or activities you most love.

(Alternatively, if your dates are rigid, let us know what you would like).

We have only 3 English conversation guests per week, so there’s plenty of time for private coaching, error correction – and discovering the language you need.
