Meet the Teaching Team behind Blue Noun Language Hub
Principle Language Coach &
Ruth is the principal English coach – as well as the programme coordinator of our English language school for creatives.
She’s a popular and excellent E.S.L. English instructor; a creative, flexible thinker; sociable, friendly and interested in Scottish Heritage, Art and Culture.
Ruth trained as an artist at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, Dundee, UK (B.A. Hons) and Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, USA (picking up her M.F.A. in Fine Art and a Certificate in Higher Education Teaching).
She’s also worked with a number of arts organisations, artist collectives ( see here) and more recently has picked up a camera to promote Blue Noun English language hub on social media.
Ruth Pringle spent 3 years in Brussels and 7 years in Paris teaching ESL English to both university classes and at private language schools (L.S.I International and inlingua). She was on teaching teams for corporate clients including HAS, Nike France, Arcelor Mittal, INPES, L’Agence de la Biomedicine and Cegelec.
She then specialised as an English instructor for art schools, and taught at: École Brassart, Tours; École de Condé, Paris-Segur; École Speciale d’Architecture, Paris, École Supérieure d’Art et de Design, Reims; Institut Universitaire de Technologie, Mantes la Jolie, Université Paris 13, Paris.
Conversationalist, Coach & Guide
Kenny is wingman (wing nut), language host and guide.
Kenneth Graham is a pharmacist with 20 years of professional experience, including 8 years managerial experience (which entailed being responsible for staff relations, customer service, meeting health and safety regulations, ensuring staff were up to date with current training, budgeting, calculating staff hours and stock management).
Kenny is affable and friendly and a wonderful host. He is a golfer, a Spanish speaker and a music lover. (He previously lived in Spain for one year and has a lot of encouragement to give our language learners).
His favourite part of being on the Blue Noun Teaching Team are the evenings when we have guest musicians in to talk music and play (and the evenings when we go out to gigs and events).
He’s also great at showing guests around our town and region and loves a good castle!
Read our blog to find out more about what we get up to!
