How to Save Money on an English Language Holiday in the UK
You may think travelling to the UK to improve your English is prohibitively expensive – and it can be.
Our top tip to save money on an English Language Holiday in the UK is to choose an independent language school.
Small private schools (or immersion holiday providers) can keep costs down.
You don’t need to pay city prices either (more on this).
Read this blog for our 3 ‘hacks’ to get you improving your English without breaking the bank.

💰 Hack #01 💰
Homestay Hosts
Average AIRB&B prices are now £145 per night across the UK (🤯) – cheaper in Perthshire – about £80 per night – but that’s the same as a cheap hotel.
On the other hand, Gleneagles (8 miles away is £350 per night) (and most folks visit there to spend time in the same landscape we share!)
That’s a lot of £££!
We host you with homestay hosts, so you pay just £25 per night.
That’s cheaper than our local campsite, but these homestay hosts are no compromise!
Not only have they got lovely homes and comfy beds, but they are also kind and fabulous keen for you to enjoy your holiday AND progress in English.
(In 2024, Perthsire was voted the friendliest region ON EARTH by Booking.com).
They all LOVE helping people enjoy Scotland. You’ll be amazed at how your host enriches your language holiday experience!

We Know the Best Places to Go
You need a comfy place to sleep, because, by day, you and I will explore Scotland in all sorts of ways at no additional cost to you, including castles, concerts, workshops in a blend of visitor attractions and community events.
It’s a program personalised around your interests and designed to get you talking/relaxing/opening your heart to English.
I know where the best the ‘off the beaten track’ experiences are.
Last week we walked through a forest, around a small loch and watched an osprey hunt for fish – all without seeing a single other person in 4 hours.
